HAUTE so FABULOUS

Designer Spotlight; Theodora Warre

StyleRebecca O'Byrne

Having begun her career in the fashion side of the industry Theodora Warre is a force to be reckoned with ever since stepping into her own in the jewellery space + setting up her eponymous label back in 2014 . When it comes to dressing up the everyday, Warre stands out from the crowd as she injects a sense of adventure + colour into what can sometimes feel all too mundane.

Part of her very DNA, Warre’s great-grandfather was crown jeweler Harry Garrard who became the first official Crown Jeweler in the United Kingdom, designing pieces directly for Queen Victoria in the 1800’s. And although design most certainly runs in the family, Warre herself is very much at the helm of wearable keepsakes; it is without a doubt that her own style + creative vision as an artist have allowed her abundant success in her own right. An authority on semi-precious pieces while working with sterling silver + gold plate, Warre is heavily inspired by the colourful nature of India + it’s striking vividness that plays into each of her collections while injecting a sense of discovery into each piece. Drawing upon the notable character of Jaipur, where she spends a lot of time + where she also studied at the Gem Palace, is is clear the style of a Theodora Warre woman is one well-travelled + forever in search of the previously undiscovered next gem.
